6 tasks: Global company has requested a prototype for disaster relief shelters that may be used worldwide for varying natural disasters. Parameters are the emphasis on alternative energy and sustainable resources with guidelines to provide a shelter for 100 occupants for 30 days, and provide energy for a warning system, and water pump. Proposals will include the location of the shelter and the type of disasters that may be encountered. Prompts research of global disasters, alternative energy sources and their output and cost, sustainable building resources and cost, topography, and possible economic impact to region.
